The Monogram adopted by the Siddhartha institutions represents Buddha's 'Vyakhamudra' with half opened lotus signifying preaching of wisdom and enlightenment of Mind and Soul through learning and truth. The college Motto, “Atma Deepo Bhava” aptly signifies the same.
It is a good college,well maintained. It is heartening to hear that it belongs to a trust and is functioning efficiently since 1975. Its management is proactive to developing the college and their principal is actively participating in all programs where there is scope for further development. I wish them the very best in their endeavours.
I have had the privilage of interacting with the students and staff regarding my work on nature of light.The power point presentation entitled interferance and diffraction-a new theory has been well received.I always feel every student is endowed with a great creative potential which can flourish with encouragement from teachers.I hope that under the stewardship of principal this college will scale greater heights in future.
I had an oppurtunity to visit PBS college of arts and sciences as Chairman of UGC Committee to accord confirmation of autonomous status.I am very happy about the infrastructure facilities,faculty achievements,students achievements and in toto the excellence.The Chairman,members of the governing body,faculty and students are more concerned about the organisation.I wish all the best and I am sure that the college will grow to newer heights in the days to come.
