We aspire to create a dynamic learning environment that produces knowledgeable and skilled human resources, ready for employment in the rapidly evolving fields of Information Technology (IT) and IT-enabled Services (ITES).

Our commitment extends beyond conventional education; we aim to impart the knowledge needed for planning, designing, and building complex Application Software Systems while providing unwavering support to Automated Systems and Applications

MISSION

The M.Sc. (Computer Science) program and the MCA program share a common broad objective, aiming to equip postgraduates for successful careers in diverse fields such as the software industry, corporate sector, government organizations, and academia. Both programs strive to achieve this by fostering a skill-based environment that integrates teaching and research in both core and emerging areas of the computer science discipline. The curriculum of these Master's Degree Programs is designed with a semester-based approach, wherein the first year focuses on core courses to establish a robust conceptual framework and facilitate skills development in computer science using various technologies. The emphasis is on providing students with a comprehensive and sound background in theoretical and skill-oriented courses relevant to the latest advancements in computer software development. The second year of both programs is dedicated to specialization and project work, allowing students to delve deeper into specific areas of interest and apply software technology to solve complex problems in mathematics, computing, communications/networking, and commercial domains. Overall, these programs are structured to prepare graduates for the dynamic challenges of the IT landscape and contribute effectively to the ever-evolving field of computer science.
