The pursuit of research and innovation at PB Siddhartha College of Arts and Science is woven into the fabric of our academic landscape. With a robust facilitations comprising four distinguished research centres in departments like Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, and Commerce and Business Management, recognized by Krishna University, along with a dedicated cohort of eleven research supervisors and 31 research scholars. We are steadfast in our mission to expand the horizons of knowledge across diverse disciplines. Our scholars are nurtured under the tutelage of experienced supervisors, who provide unwavering support throughout their academic odyssey.
The research promotion committee (RPC) along with research ethics committee (REC) is actively involved in facilitating the requirements related to research. Well-defined policy for research and ethics guide the research façade of the college. Collaborations and partnerships with industries and academia also help the college to gain access to facilities beyond the borders of the college.
1. Develop the research infrastructure and capabilities of the College. This will require dedicating a certain amount of soft and hard infrastructure towards creating a research atmosphere in the College.
2. Promote and encourage research in certain thematic areas identified by the College. The research will be conducted either by the College faculty or visiting scholars and fellows. This will require developing a medium- and long-term research agenda and strategy.
3. Provide an ethical framework and quality control mechanism for the research work carried out in the College. This will require the development of a Research Council/Committee to approve and provide funding for research internally and an Institutional Review Board (IRB) to provide certification of Ethics review for research conducted in the College.

On April 23, 2024, a webinar titled "Innovation and Intellectual Property Rights for Students’ Career Growth and Future Prospects" was held in the Webinar Hall. The event featured Dr. Raghava Rao Komaragiri, the Director for Innovation, Patent Facilitation, and Business Incubator – MSME at Koneru Lakshmaiah Education Foundation (Deemed to be University), Guntur, AP, as the resource person. This webinar focused on the role of innovation and intellectual property rights in enhancing students' career growth and future prospects.
On January 10, 2022, a seminar titled "Importance of Intellectual Property Rights" was held in the Seminar Hall. The event featured Mr. Sudheer Mamillapalli, a Patent and Trademark Attorney from Volksphantom IPR Solutions Pvt. Ltd., as the resource person. This seminar highlighted the significance of intellectual property rights and provided valuable insights into their impact and relevance.
On December 18, 2020, an online National Webinar on the Basics of Intellectual Property Rights was conducted. The webinar featured Sri Subhajit Saha, the Director and Head of CII, Telangana, as the resource person. The event aimed to provide fundamental insights into intellectual property rights, benefiting participants by enhancing their understanding of this crucial subject.
